Global win for 256 in Content Marketing Awards

Dublin-based creative content marketing agency, 256 has won the Best Retail Publication with Style Magazine for luxury jeweller Weirs in the Content Marketing Institute’s prestigious Content Marketing Awards 2018.

The agency has also been short-listed for the third year in a row for Agency of the Year (results to be announced at Content Marketing World in the US in September 2018). It was also named as a finalist in the Best Multi-Year Content Marketing Programme for its work in financial services with client EBS d.a.c and in the Best Corporate Blog for its client CoreHR.

This is 256’s seventh global award for the agency which was set up in 2013 with the aim to put Ireland on the map as a content marketing leader.

“Ireland has such a rich tradition of story-telling in Ireland and at 256 we bring that to life through our highly skilled workforce to do really meaningful and impactful work for clients,” says Karen Hesse, CEO at 256.

“In Europe, content marketing spend is expected to grow to over €2bn by 2020 and as the soon-to-be only English speaking country in the EU there’s lots of opportunities for Ireland to capitalise on this,” Hesse adds.

The Content Marketing Awards is the largest and longest-running international content marketing awards programme in the world.

“I’m wowed by the quality of entries in this year’s Content Marketing Awards,” says Stephanie Stahl, general manager, Content Marketing Institute. “The level of innovation and creativity is truly inspiring. We’re excited to recognise the achievements of all the winners and finalists for what they are doing to not only advance the practice of content marketing but to help their organisations and clients be successful.”

The winners will be announced and celebrated at a live awards ceremony during Content Marketing World, September 5, 2018, in Cleveland, Ohio.
